Caltranzit is a collaboration between artists living in Tijuana and san diego. The goal of the project is to find ways to intersect our communities, as well as to open alternative spaces for dialogue through collaborative projects. This project focuses on a car (1975 Chevy Malibu) that is currently being passed between the artists involved. The car, a perpetually transforming multimedia sculpture shared between the artists, acts as a binding vessel for our collaboration.
